REGIMIENTO DE CABALLERÍA BLINDADA N° 3 HÚSARES DE ANGOL.
Toda la epopeya de la emancipación es un ininterrumpido sonar de cascos de cargas furiosas, de alaridos de lanzas en ristre. La primera unidad que llevó el nombre de "Húsares" fue creada por decreto supremo el 02 de Diciembre de 1810 rescatándose años de valiosos y sostenidos servicios prestados a la patria tanto en la guerra como en la paz. El 18 de Enero de 1982 producto de la evolución del arma pasa a denominarse "Regimiento de Caballería Blindada N° 03 Húsares del General Don José Miguel Carrera", el que después de una gloriosa historia bajo 22 estandartes, 19 guarniciones ha sabido mantener y acrecentar día a día el prestigio y la gloria de los montados soldados de las calaveras con las tibias cruzadas.
La unidad Angolina ha sabido cumplir honrosamente con el deber de la constitución y la leyes le imponen que en momentos de conmoción interna.
En la actualidad este Regimiento cuenta con elementos materiales modernos de acuerdo a las necesidades y exigencias que plantea un ejército moderno y en cuya unidad militar aparte de entregar instrucción a quienes cumplen con su deber militar se entrega valiosa ayuda a los agricultores de la Provincia a través, por ejemplo, de una estación de monta, que en sus años de operaciones, su actividad ha sido clasificada como excelente. Para tales efectos se cuenta con dos potros fina sangre Bretones Montañeses. En su Jardín de Saltos se han realizado las m s espectaculares competencias nacionales e internacionales que organiza el Regimiento luciendo con orgullo el Récord Mundial de Salto Alto, que fue batido por el Capitán Alberto Larraguibel Morales, montando el Caballo Huaso.
JARDÍN SE SALTOS REGIMIENTO HÚSARES
Ubicado en el recinto del Regimiento Húsares, entre las calles Los Confines y General Bonilla, la cancha de saltos tiene una capacidad para 400 personas con 2 tribunas.
PICADERO CUBIERTO REGIMIENTO HÚSARES
Con capacidad para 400 personas y con amplia y cómoda tribuna, para aquellos días de lluvias, con grandes competencias a nivel nacional.
SALA HISTÓRICA
En la que se puede encontrar historia con información sobre las campañas y hechos de armas en los que participó este regimiento, además hay una exposición de armas y documentos de 1891 aproximadamente.
CANCHA DE POLO
Con capacidad para una 200 personas, ubicadas en un bonito paraje, dentro del recinto militar, con dos tribunas, siendo el Polo una combinación perfecta de velocidad, iniciativa y anticipación de cada jinete para vencer al adversario; donde esta unidad ha logrado importantes triunfos a nivel militar nacional.
El cuadro negro con su audacia empuje y certeza representa a la unidad en aniversarios, en ferias de importancia agrícola ganadera.
Se anexa además, una piscina para uso interno, cancha de tiro al blanco, cancha de football y basketball.
3RD ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT AND HISTORICAL ROOM HUSSARDS
