DECLARA MONUMENTO HISTÓRICO  ESCULTURAS Y ESPEJO DE AGUA 
 

UBICADAS EN LA PLAZA DE ARMAS DE ANGOL

 

N° 777.-  Santiago, 4 de agosto de 1986. Considerando que:

          

Que,  las  Esculturas que actualmente rodean  en sus cuatro costados  la  Plaza  de  Armas de Angol, representando los Continentes de  Asia, África, Europa y América y el Espejo de Agua en cuyas cuatro esquinas  se  encuentran  las  esculturas,  obras del artista Virginio Arias,  forman una perfecta composición y constituyen un bien cultural de gran valor:

  

Visto: Lo  dispuesto  en  la  ley  N° 17.288 de 1970, acuerdo  de  sesión  de  09 de julio de 1986 del Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales  y  en  los  artículos  32    08  y 35 de la Constitución Política de la República de Chile.

  


Decreto :

  

Artículo  único: Declarase  Monumento  Histórico  las cuatro  esculturas  de mármol  blanco que representan los continentes de  Asia, África, Europa y América, y el espejo de agua en cuyas cuatro  esquinas se encuentran dichas esculturas, ubicadas en la Plaza de Armas de Angol, Provincia de Malleco, IX Región de la Araucanía.

 

Anótese,  tómese  razón  y  publíquese.  Augusto Pinochet Ugarte,  General  de  ejército,  Presidente  de  la República – Sergio Gaete Rojas, Ministro de Educación Pública.

HISTORICAL MONUMENT SCULPTURES AND WATER MIRROR (FOUNTAIN)  
IT IS LOCATED IN THE MAIN SQUARE OF ANGOL

N° 777.- Santiago, August 4, 1986. Considering that:

The sculptures that currently surround in its four sides the Main Square of Angol, representing the Continents of Asia, Africa, Europe and America and the water mirror whose in its four corners there are sculptures, works of the artist Virginio Arias, forms a perfect composition and constitute a cultural property of great value:

Approved:   The arranged in the law N° 17,288 of 1970, agreement of session on July 09 1986 of the National Monuments Council and articles 32N° 08 and 35 of the Political Constitution of the Chile Republic.



Decree:

Sole article:   Declared a Historical Monument the four sculptures of white marble representing the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe and America, and the water mirror whose in its four corners there are sculptures, located in the Main Square of Angol, Province of Malleco, IX Region of the Araucanía.

Register, take reason and published.  Augusto Pinochet Ugarte, General of the army, President of the Republic - Sergio Gaete Rojas, Minister of Education.
