OLD HOSPITAL - JOSE BUNSTER
It was built in 1929 with the aim that complement the Hospital with a few pavilions in which project came out for an amount of 600,000 pesos, in 1931 was approved the extraordinary budget on the part of the charity, a sum of 40,000 pesos to build a gallery to connect the old building of wood with the pavilions.
In 1933 was delivered to the hospital for the management by the Deputy José Luis Osorio.
In the occasion of a plague of typhus fever, in November 1933 these pavilions were used as "emergency pavilions" where about 60 patients were attended, passed this plague in 1935 was insisted in his final delivery and furnish it.
At the end of June 1935 was delivered by the Deputy José Luis Osorio.
In the earthquake of the year 1960, the construction was affected for large cracks reason was necessary the construction of the current hospital of Angol in 1968 was begun to occupy this hospital transacted by don Mauricio Ellerman Torres, which has his name.
It was declared a National Monument.
