Circuito Ecológico, conexión con Cañete desde Angol
Si dispone de vehículo parta del Km 0 Plaza de Armas de la ciudad de Angol por calle Colima.
Km. 30 Pasará por la localidad de Vegas Blancas, bonito caserío agrícola. Hacia adelante, el camino es ripiado y con fuerte pendiente.
Km. 31 Colonias escolares María Silvestre Rasch, posee sistema de alojamiento, especial para delegaciones y turistas en excursiones.
Km. 37 se ubica el Camping El Coigüe y luego los portones del PARQUE NACIONAL NAHUELBUTA.
Km. 15 al subir una suave cuesta tendrá una espectacular panorámica de la ciudad, del valle circundante y de la gigantesca fábrica de Celulosa Mininco.
Km. 20 se ubica una zona balnearios en el sector del Manzano, ribera del río Picoiquén.
Km. 44 Puertas de Pichinahuel, que lleva por camino de ripio señalizado hasta la localidad de Cayucupil.
Km. 53 Se acaba el bosque nativo. Hacia adelante se baja por la cordillera de la Costa, cubierta de bosques de pino y eucalipto con empresas forestales. Hay muchos cruces de caminos, señalizados, usados por camiones madereros.

En invierno, sólo apto para vehículos 4x4, también existen pronunciadas curvas, por lo cual se recomienda previa conciencia al manejar y respetar a los demás vehículos que transitan en el lugar.
Km. 83 se llega al valle e inicio de un camino asfaltado de 8 kms., frente a la aldea Cayucupil que lleva al Km. 97 donde se entra a la ciudad de CAÑETE.
En Cañete los atractivos se ven reflejados en la gran historia que posee la ciudad misma con grandes padres de la patria como Lautaro, Caupolicán, Galvarino y Colo Colo, también fue recorrió estas tierras Pedro de Valdivia, demás se puede conocer el museo mapuche que esta orientado a la recolección, conservación y difusión de diferentes objetos materiales perteneciente a la Dibam. Se encuentra a pocos kilómetros al sur, camino a la ciudad de Contulmo.
