En Angol hay variados lugares en los cuales se puede realizar esta actividad en los que podemos nombrar:
El Manzano
En donde es un río cordillerano existen muchas truchas, entre las que se encuentran arco iris y farios. La abundancia de truchas permite una pesca muy buena durante cualquier hora del día.
Durante la tarde, el río ofrece condiciones muy buenas. En los lugares donde las aguas están más quietas, la práctica con mosca seca se hace indispensable. Hay muchas truchas que se hacen presentes dejando sus anillos en la superficie del agua.
El promedio en tamaño de estas truchas es de alrededor de los 20 y 30 cm. Aunque hay registros de capturas de truchas de alrededor de 1 Kg. La caña ideal para este río es una 5-6, para lograr una sensibilidad total.
La gran amenaza de las truchas, es la cantidad de pescadores anti deportistas que visitan este río, especialmente durante los meses de verano, ya que las condiciones geográficas que ofrece el río son muy buenas para el camping. A pesar de esta amenaza el río ha mantenido su magia y su generosidad en la obtención de truchas.
Chanleo
En este sector podemos encontrar trucha salmonera pequeña, en cantidad no muy abundante, al igual que el manzano, encontramos truchas pequeñas, al ser un río cordillerano, la caña ideal a utilizar es de 5-6, ideal durante la tarde, ya que el río ofrece condiciones optimas en donde las aguas están más quietas.
El promedio en tamaño de estas truchas es de alrededor de los 20 y 30 cm.
Maitenrehue
Debido que es un río cordillerano posee las mismas condiciones del manzano, existen muchas truchas, el promedio en tamaño de estas truchas es de alrededor de los 20 y 30 cm. Aunque hay registros de capturas de truchas de alrededor de 1 Kg. La caña ideal para este río es una 5-6, para lograr una sensibilidad total.
Laguna Malleco
Desde laguna Malleco hasta puente Malleco podemos encontrar trucha de mayor envergadura, de tamaño medio hacia arriba, el horario puede ser mañana para los que prefieren la pesca con mosca y tarde para una pesca de mas profundidad. En el inicio de temporada se puede usar botes, la fecha recomendable para realizar dicha actividad en este sector es en noviembre. Se recomienda wolly de color verde y café, y en caña de acción 5-7.
Laguna la Tereña
Camino a Mininco entrando a tijeral, se encuentra esta laguna en donde podemos encontrar pejerrey de todo tipo durante todo el día, se puede realizar una pesca sin mayor descripción.
Laguna Huelehueico
Se ubica camino tijeral, Mininco, km. 20 en este sector tiene las mismas condiciones de la laguna tereña, se encuentran pejerrey de todo tipo, en el día y se realiza una pesca sin mayor descripción
Santa Elena
Desde balneario Anef hacia puente Malleco resulta buena una pesca de orilla se encuentran trucha de tamaño medio, y resulta optima una caña de 5-6
Santa Rosa
Se encuentra camino a Los Sauces, en este sector podemos encontrar el pejerrey en distintos tamaños, se realiza una pesca sin mayor descripción, la caña ideal es de 5-6
Santa Rita
Se encuentra en Angol, en el sector campo familia Mauzier, aquí puedes encontrar pejerrey. Realizando la pesca deportiva, para el ingreso se necesita previa autorización, resulta óptima una caña de 5-6
Peta
A 3 km., al interior en unos pozones se encuentra un lugar muy tranquilo en el cual se puede realizar esta actividad, podemos encontrar el salmón
Río Renaico
En este río, se encuentra la trucha salmonidea, resulta buena la pesca durante todo el día, por lo cual la caña ideal es de 5-6

Conejos y Liebres
Se puede realizar actividad de caza menor, en conejos y liebres, por las condiciones de la zona, hay en abundancia, caracterizándose con énfasis el sector cordillerano y la liebre en planicies se realiza de noche en vehículo o caminando.

Para la captura de perdiz, es recomendable en épocas de Junio, Julio, y puedes encontrar en previos particulares entre Angol y Collipulli.

Tórtolas:
Puede realizar, la caza de tórtolas en los meses de abril a julio y se encuentran en más énfasis en el sector camino a Mininco de accesos públicos y privados.
El instrumento de caza que se puede utilizar es escopetas en todos sus calibres, riffle calibre 22, y puedes realizar esta actividad durante todo el año.
