HIDROGRAFÍA DE ANGOL
RÍO PICOIQUÉN:
Nace en la Cordillera de Nahuelbuta en el sector oriental del Alto de Nahuelbuta, recibiendo las aguas de los esteros Los Pantalones, Paso Oscuro y Paso de Piedra, de muy poco caudal.
Pero alimentando la primera parte del caudal del Río Picoiquén, que posteriormente abastecerá de agua a la ciudad de Angol.
En la segunda parte se agrega el estero "COIMALLÍN", que cruza el Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta por todo su centro y ofrece el mayor caudal durante todo el año, a este se anexa los esteros La Necesidad y Urrea o Ferriere, que nacen en el sector de Pino Cortado y salen de Parque por el límite Este, desembocado en el Estero Coimallín.
RÍO REHEUE:
De diciembre a marzo su caudal es reducido en que aumenta en temporada de invierno, en su lento recorrido drena gran parte del valle, por lo cual sus aguas son turbias.
Este río se alimenta de numerosos esteros que son:
Trintre - Panqueco - Angostura - Mininco - Tronicura Trariguanque - Rarinco - Coilaco - Raquín - Tromenco - Reñico Huimaco – Coipué - Lipillinco - Empueno - Cucacavipi - Lololhue Catrimalal – Trancura - Papanihue y Pelehue. Este río se une en el Puente Vergara N 1 en el sector Sur con el río Picoiquén, formando el río Vergara
RÍO MALLECO:
Nace en el sector de la Laguna Malleco, anexándose en su largo recorrido numerosos esteros y en la comuna de Angol se anexan los siguientes:
ESTERO LOLENCO:
Que se nutre de los afluentes Pichilolenco y Lolenco.
ESTERO CANCURA:
Adquiere la mayoría de sus aguas de la Laguna Los Alpes.
RÍO VERGARA:
Nace de la respectiva unión de los Ríos Rehue y Picoiquén posteriormente se les une el pequeño caudal del estero las Diucas, luego se une le Río Malleco y el estero Pellomenco, contribuyendo con sus aguas para acrecentar el caudal de este río y que en un tiempo pasado navegaban embarcaciones de poco calado.
RÍO HUEQUEN:
Este río nace de dos confluencias que son:
AFLUENTE REQUÉN:
Se alimenta del estero Cavallica y Quilaco.
AFLUENTE ÑIPACO:
Se alimenta principalmente del estero los barros.
Ubicado el lado Este de la ciudad en el sector de Huequén a 4 Kms., de Angol.
ESTERO LAS DIUCAS:
Estero de poco caudal y que cruza la ciudad de Angol, por el lado este, por el sector del recinto Musre y el regimiento Húsares, desembocando ante el puente Vergara N° 2.

ANGOL HYDROGRAPHY
PICOIQUÉN RIVER:
Rise in the Nahuelbuta Range in the eastern sector of the Alto de Nahuelbuta, receiving the waters of the estuaries, the pants, Paso Oscuro y Paso de Piedra, of very little flow.
But feeding the first part of the flow, which subsequently will supply water to the city of Angol.
The second part adds the "COIMALLÍN" stream, which crosses the Nahuelbuta National Park around its center and offers greater flow throughout the year, this appends La Esperanza and Urrea or Ferriere streams, that rise in the Pino sector
Cut and out of Park by the East border, flow into the Coimallín stream.
REHEUE RIVER:
From December to March, its flow is reduced in Summer but increases in winter, in its slow travel season drain much of the Valley, so the waters are murky.
This River feeds numerous streams that are:
Trintre - Panqueco - Angostura - Mininco - Tronicura Trariguanque - Rarinco - Coilaco - Raquín - Tromenco - Reñico Huimaco – Coipué - Lipillinco - Empueno - Cucacavipi - Lololhue Catrimalal – Trancura - Papanihue y Pelehue. This river joins at the Vergara bridge N° 1 in the southern sector with the Picoiquén river, forming the Vergara River.
MALLECO RIVER:
Rise in the sector of Laguna Malleco, attaching in your long journey many streams and in the commune of Angol are attached as follows:
LOLENCO STREAM:
That feeds from Pichilolenco and Lolenco.
CANCURA STREAM:
Acquires most of its water from the Laguna Los Alpes.
VERGARA RIVER:
Rise from the respective joining of the rivers Rehue and Picoiquén subsequently joins the small flow of the Diucas stream, then joins him the Malleco River and the Pellomenco stream, contributing with its waters to increase the flow of this river, and that a past tense you can navigate of shallow draft.
HUEQUEN RIVER:

REQUÉN TRIBUTARY:
It is fed from the Cavallica and Quilaco streams.
NIPACO TRIBUTARY:
It is fed from Los Barros stream.
Located in the East side of the city in the Huequen sector 4 km of Angol.
THE DIUCAS STREAM:
Stream of short flow and that crosses the city of Angol, by east side, by the Musre enclosure and the regiment Hussars, flows into the Vergara bridge N° 2.
